NonStopTuning 2014 Formula Drift Team – Will Parsons, Taka Aono
NonStopTuning is proud to announce its partnership with Will Parsons and Taka Aono for the 2014 Formula Drift season. The NST Drift Team will kick off the season at Round 1 in Long Beach CA, April 4/5 2014, and is excited to campaign the season with two of the most seasoned AE86 veterans in North America.
Will Parsons NonStopTuning AE86
Will Parsons has been the flagship driver for NST since 2007 and has years of experience with the AE86 chassis in series such as Formula Drift, Lone Star Drift, Xtreme Drift Circuit, and D1GP USA. Parsons and the team have enjoyed a great deal of success in the Lone Star and XDC series, and look to continue building the program in FD, following a successful rookie campaign in 2013.
Taka Aono NST AE86
Taka Aono has more experience with the AE86 chassis than any other drifter in the USA, and is the only ten year FD veteran to campaign with the same chassis during the existence of the series. Joining the team for the 2014 season, Aono brings with him an incredible amount of professional experience and knowledge, with a very long and successful resume in drifting, road racing, and instructional driving.
NonStopTuning is extremely proud to have these two great drivers on board for the 2014 season. Here’s to a great year!

2013 NST Anniversary Car Show & Drift Competition Recap
2013 NonStopTuning Anniversary
Brendan Hunyadi says he wasn’t screaming while experiencing his first ride-a-long in Ross Le’s Army green 280Z at the 2013 NST Anniversary drift event held at Gulf Greyhound Park in La Marque, Texas, Sunday, March 24.
“He is calm and I’m not screaming, but I’m like ‘we’re going really quick and completely sideways’,” he said. “When we were done he asked me what I thought and I was like, ‘that was amazing.’”
Hunyadi is a prime example of what this event is really all about.
“It gives us something to do not on the streets to have fun, and something that we want to do and just not hurt anyone else on the road, but it’s fun they open it up to us and let us all out.”
After learning on figure eights and circles, Hunyadi said this was his favorite part of the event to actually be able to go drift at high speed. It’s his first NST event and it won’t be his last.
“I love it. I’m coming to round two,” he said. “My dad and I are already looking for a drift car.”

NonStopTuning 2012 Xtreme Drift Circuit Wrap Up. Media Galore!

The 2012 season was packed with high powered fun and excitement. The Xtreme Drift Circuit added new courses, new drivers, and even crowned a new champion. NonStopTuning’s Chelsea DeNofa (back to back 2010 & 2011 champion) was no longer a full time driver in the series, having left to pursue what would become a very successful rookie year in Formula Drift, and that left the XDC crown up for grabs.

The NST squad had a great year in 2012. The combination of Will Parsons, Joshua Steele, and Chelsea DeNofa went on to record more podium finishes than any other team in the series. Will Parsons continued his streak as the only driver to have competed in every U.S. round of XDC, and continues to hold the record for being the only driver to have finished in the top four, at four consecutive events; more than 100 competitors have driven in the series since March of 2010. NST was also the only team in the 2012 series to have two drivers finish the season in the top eight of the points chase.

Life NonStop Episode ONE Is Online
Life NonStop is an online documentary directed by Cody Slack, founder of APEX US Blog. The series follows the life of NST drivers through the 2011 Xtreme Drift Circuit and highlights the race cars, as well as the venues and cities that the team will visit throughout the season.

Nearly one hundred of NST’s closest friends and fans packed Little Woodrows, a neighborhood bar near the NST showroom in Houston Texas, to catch the sneak peak of the premier episode of the series on June 11, 2011. Sticking to their 2011 slogan of “turning it up to eleven” NST premiered the episode at 11:11 pm.

NonStopTuning Persian New Year Celebration
Sunday April 3, 2011, NonStopTuning attended the annual celebration of the Persian New Year (Nowruz) at Houston’s Bear Creek Park. Over 10,000 people were in attendance, many of whom took the opportunity to get up close and personal with the 2011 NST drift cars and drivers; Will Parsons, Chelsea DeNofa, and Joshua Steele.
