NST Coverage of the 2010 SEMA Show

The SEMA Show is the premier automotive event in the U.S. (to which the general public is not invited).  It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center.  The SEMA Show attracts more than 100,000 industry leaders from more than 100 countries, and is THE place for manufacturers to launch the newest products and hottest trends in the industry.

There were so many cars, so many people to visit with, and so many new products to check out.  We can not bring you coverage of everything, and we’ll leave the latest and greatest for the magazines and blogs.  Check out our coverage for a glimpse of the things that caught our eye, with an emphasis on the things that influence the NST culture, brand, and products…

The view from above, from the Las Vegas Monorail, of only a fraction of what was SEMA.

Top Gear Taxi, anyone?!

SportsCar Magazine's project Yaris on display at the Toyota booth.

The SportsCar Magazine Yaris was on display all week.  This little Toy is a blast to drive and is equipped with NST Pulleys and a host of NST Drivetrain Components. Click HERE for much more info on the SportsCar Yaris.

Toyota NASCAR V8 anyone?!

Toyota and TRD use the same type 3 hard anodizing (most rare, most durable) on their competition pulleys as what you'll find on your NST pulleys. Yep, that's how we roll!

The SPEC Clutch booth. SPEC is a leader in clutch and flywheel manufacturing.

SPEC Clutch has been generous enough to provide us with competition clutch kits for Aaron Losey’s LS1 powered S13 and Will Parsons’ turbo 4AG AE86, equipped with a custom W58 Toyota Supra transmission.  Need a SPEC clutch & flywheel combo?  Contact us and we’ll find the best kit for your car or truck!

The Megan Racing booth featured Taka Aono's Formula Drift AE86. Living the 86 life!

Pilot Automotive, now parent company of DC Sports, had this S2000 on display.

The DG SPEC World Challenge Scion tC. The #36 car on display at Vogtland.

NonStopTuning has been a big supporter of the DG Scions since day one, providing the biggest power adder on these cars; the NST Overdrive Pulley for the TRD Supercharger.  Want one for your TRD SC tC?  Click HERE for more info.

NST Pulleys help the TRD Supercharged DG tC's dominate their class in World Challenge.

Dan Gardner himself, signing autographs for his friends and fans.

The second of the DG SPEC twins was on display at the E3 Spark Plugs booth. These green spark plugs rock!

NST logos on the doors add over 30whp to these cars. Or is it the NST TRD SC pulley that does that? Probably the sticker, right?! 😉

GM had some serious awesomeness on display, including this ALMS C6R.

The E-Rod Grand Sport; 6.2L Supercharged, Twin-Disk Clutch, 200mph. Do want!

The most obnoxious blower award goes to...

Formula Drift SEMA Press Conference. Drivers and teams gathered to watch and listen.

The Ford RTR 69 Mustang, one of the many cars at the very large Ford display area.

+1, Mister Henry Ford.

VOLK RAYS

Awesome cut-outs on full display!

Gilles Villeneuve's Ferrari for the 1980 season, on display at Koni.

BC Racing had this GTR on display. BC coilovers made Chelsea DeNofa's BMW a winner in 2010.

At the Honda booth, this CRZ was fully wrapped! The CRZ was a big part of the eco-modder movement at SEMA this year.

Go Pro Cameras!

Go Pro Cameras are used in a wide variety of sports, and we have always shot our NST Drift Demo YouTube passenger videos with these cameras.  Watch our latest passenger videos HERE and give us a call if you need to pick up a Go Pro Camera of your own this holiday season.  We’ll have them available for sale in the very near future!

This Hyundai Genesis was on display, sporting a set of prototype NST pulleys.

NonStopTuning Genesis Pulleys will be available for sale in the very near future.  Crankshaft, Alternator, and Water Pump pulleys will provide excellent weight reduction, better throttle response, quicker acceleration, and better fuel economy.  Stay tuned for more info this holiday season.

Liberty Tire Recycling was one of the most interesting booths at SEMA this year. These guys recycle used tires into mulch, turf, and other reusable items. Very cool, indeed!

.

Those of you who plan to attend the 2011 SEMA show should plan to stop by the NST booth!
