NST Blog Feature: Canadian Heat!
A few months ago (click here to get caught up) we asked our blog readers to send in short stories/entries regarding their projects. We received a few good entries and have begun sharing them with you.
We LOVE tastefully modified sleepers and Jason’s Canadian Toyota, featured in this entry, is definitely one that fits that description!

Wow, where to begin with the list of modifications… Well my ride is a 1999 Toyota Tercel. ( the last year they were sold in Canada, 1998 was the last year they sold them in the USA. ) This car started out as a daily driver. I started searching around on the internet and came accross a site called Tercelonline. Once I found this site, I realized the potential of what level I could take this car to. I started out slowly modifying my car, and then it got to the point where I found myslef in the snowball effect where I just couldnt’ stop. I am currently on hold with the modifications on my car, but do have plans to upgrade the turbo and install a standalone ecu. My goal is to be over 300whp. I owe a lot to the crew at Tercelonline, they have helped me over the years with my project.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and appreciate what I have accomplished with my car. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Engine has been on the dyno June 2009 and made 245whp.
